The existing system no longer fits how you work. An off-the-shelf package cannot meet the requirement. The vendor who built it is no longer reachable. Development work is rarely just greenfield — we take on new builds and the modification of systems already in production.

Contract development

Requirements, design, implementation, testing and release, handled end to end. Where useful we start further back, working out how much of the process is worth systematising at all. Web-based line-of-business systems, internal tools, integration layers against core systems — all in scope.

Modifying existing systems

Adding features, improving performance, or rebuilding the interface of a system already in production. Even where documentation is missing and the original team has moved on, we can start with an investigation of what is actually running. A full rewrite is rarely the only option — we will propose staged changes with a contained blast radius.

Building your in-house capability

If the goal is for your own team to run and extend the system eventually, we work towards that: documentation that carries the design intent and code structure, plus walkthroughs for your engineers where useful.
